How much does it cost to repair a Samsung phone screen ?

A simple answer is it will depend on the model you have. Samsung Galaxy screen repair costs: Samsung Galaxy screen repair pricing is similar. They starts at £75 for older or lower-end models. Prices go up to £360 for higher end models like the Samsung S23 Ultra. Like Apple, Samsung offers in-person and mail-in repair options Our prices are listed above and include VAT. We only use Genuine Samsung Service Centre Packs and this means you will have an original screen the same that was factory fitted when you bought it new (assuming you didn’t buy a refurbished model with an aftermarket screen – and that is of course possible)

IS it worth repairing a Samsung Screen ?

A new phone, of any brand, can cost you a lot, half of which can be required to just replace the screen and make your old phone look new. We often get customers saying “I might as well buy a new phone”. Of course when faced with the £360 price tag of a repair on a Samsung S23 Ultra that seems a reasonable thing to say, but if you actually want to buy one of these they are still £755 at CEX secondhand.

How long does a Samsung Screen repair take ?

On most models it takes approx 30 minutes to dissassemble and reassemble a Samsung – We like to book a customer for an hour to make sure we take our time and be extra dilligent. We are often dealing with £1000 plus phones. Even of we are dealing with the cheaper A Series we like to make sure everthing is transferred onto the new screen properly and tested. That the back is adhered and has time to bond to make sure it’s water resistant.

Generally it is only cheaper to replace one of the A series, however if the screen is broken and unresponsive the chances of recovering the data are very unlikely as you cannot brute force the phone to copy data. In these cases customer who do not know if their phone is backed up or not do not really have an option of they want to keep their data other than to have the screen replaced.
