Types of Screens Available for iPhone, Samsung and other Phones

When you're looking to fix your phone, the "best" choice really depends on how you use your device and what your budget looks like.

To put it simply, LCD is our budget-friendly workhorse; it uses a backlight to light up the whole panel, which makes it reliable but a bit thicker and harder on your battery. OLED is the more modern "vibrant" option—each pixel creates its own light, giving you those "true blacks" and much better battery life because the screen can actually turn off individual pixels for dark areas. Finally, an Original (or OEM) screen is the exact same part your phone had when it was brand new in the box, ensuring perfect color, touch sensitivity, and fit.

For Samsung Repairs we don't offer an alternative to Original Samsung Service Packs as Samsung have very clever patented pixel technology and aftermarket screens for the best part have been poor and lead to long term isues with quality and use. We will not fit them, however, other companies will and they are available. Our prices are based on genuine Samsung Screens.
